From the moment I was in Darlene's care I have never felt more at ease about every aspect of my care. As a mother of 6, and also a surgery patient, I have been treated at many hospitals over the years, and can easily say that, hands down, she is the most exceptional nurse that I have ever encountered. She went above and beyond what others have done for me, tending to not only what I needed, but also things that would make me, as a person, and not just a patient, more comfortable. She was not afraid to make recommendations and seemed to work in amazing accord with her superiors, which is very commendable in itself. I'd really like for her to be recognized in a big way, as she made such an impact on mine, and I am sure with all of my heart, that she will in many others lives in years to come. She is a wonderful nurse, full of compassion and life, and an even better human being.
