Courtney was our night nurse 6 out of 7 nights. She greeted a very scared family with a very sick mom. She was calm and reassuring and we fell in love! Every night we were so happy to see her. She treated mom and us with dignity and respect. She was so knowledgeable about her job. She explained anything we had questions about and never acted like we were taking too much of her time,(which we absolutely did!). She knew our names and held our hands through some very scary moments. One night mom was alone and sad and scared. Courtney stayed with her and hugged her until she felt better. The next morning, mom told us that she had adopted Courtney into the family!
