There is not ONE single event that was extraordinary, but ongoing exceptional nursing care. Carol has taken care of me and my family member. She was always calming and encouraging. You never saw Carol sweat. She is so reassuring and kind in delivering care. Additionally, I have seen Carol mentor a new RN to be confident in her care. She is approachable and interactive with co-workers. My last interaction with Carol is the night my mom passed away. She was not my mom's nurse, but came into my mom's room to help me through my grief. I will never forget her many kindnesses to me and my family. The Barnes' family would be proud to have such a fine nurse enter into the ranks of a "DAISY Nurse".
