Rosa does a lot of things behind the scenes. The unknown. When you tell a story regarding did you know... yeah that's what Rosa did- someone else has something to add- Like when she made the communion jewelry for a long term sibling of a NICU baby, when she sends cards to homes of families for a boost- when she recently was taking several calls of a baby we transferred to another hospital for services and the baby passed away there- the family was devastated as one can imagine. The family called the NICU and Rosa answered. They immediately connected with her. She provided her cell phone number as she knew they needed a constant. Rosa was off all weekend and heard from the family several times- helping them through this difficult time- she was there for them.

They were numb and Rosa was able to talk with them- she contacted me out of concern and wanted to do more. Just that was done. The family came in and met with Rosa and perinatal support- Rosa was able to help them through the process of setting up the memorial service and getting further support for them. They were very grateful for that and in fact commenting that he knew his son was cared for in many ways here he also commented that they would not be able to do this without her- as they did not even start to plan for a funeral yet-and at this point was hardly able to speak there was no need for him to speak- not imagining how he must feel. Rosa gave them the support and direction they needed - she made this happen.
