Amanda Baker is a phenomenal nurse with a very compassionate heart. Recently, she cared for two homeless patients, one of which had been living outside and got stuck in the rain. His clothes and shoes were wet and smelled foul on admission. She washed and dried his clothes and shoes, got him a few additional pieces of clothing along with a duffle to replace the one he'd lost. Because this floor is historically a very busy unit she did this on her own time and money. Amanda has performed many acts of kindness and is an inspiration to her co-workers.
