We as a family spend a significant amount of time at Children's, and Sara has become one of our favorite nurses. During admissions, we always know that when Sara is assigned to be our nurse, it will be a good day. We have great confidence in her nursing knowledge and skills, never fearing that she will make a life-altering mistake. Sara is clothed with deep compassion, which is so evident in the way she sweetly and gently interacts with our daughter and in the way she speaks kindly to us, even on days when we ourselves are unkind. Every time we have a concern with the medical team, she is the best advocate for us and the best mediator between us and the practitioners.
Sara loves children, and that love radiates through her smile, actions, and words. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
