Michael's compassion for my ailing father during his last day of life was unsurpassed. He showed a connection of warmth and personalization toward our family that seemed as if he had been a part of us for years as opposed to one 12 hour shift. He helped us make informed decisions about daddy's last hours that gave us knowledge needed to help him continue fighting while he could, but helped us keep him at peace through his last breath. Michael exemplifies the care that families with critical care members need, and most of all, he exemplifies the medical knowledge and compassion the patient needs.
