Lizzy Daniel is a Registered Nurse in The Family Place. She holds a national certification in Obstetrics. Lizzy is an active member on the Nursing Professional Practice Council and was nominated for the DAISY Award by two patients. Their comments spoke of her extreme caring and gentleness with the patients and babies. Lizzy shared her knowledge and skills with the new mothers, as one mom wrote about her history of baby's with high bilirubin levels and Lizzy taught her how to help prevent this. The mom was ecstatic that the baby did not have to use the bilirubin lights. They wanted to thank her for her dedication in the nursing profession, and for their safe, and positive discharges home.
