I had Dani as my nurse two days in a row. Her level of compassion for me and my unborn daughter touched my heart. While she was performing my fetal heart rate, she didn't just listen to the heartbeat, she gently put her hand on my growing belly and rubbed as she sweetly talked to my daughter. Above that, one day after throwing up I called for her. She came right in to help. She sat down next to me on the bed, she rubbed my back, and got a cold wet washcloth for me. She helped me calm down, emptied the bucket, and just took care of everything. For her to rub my back took her from just being a nurse to a whole other level. I felt the love she has not only for her job, but for the women she takes care of. She treated me with the compassion and love she would have used on her own family.
