Paula is currently filling dual positions; she is here daily completing her duties as a clinic nurse until someone else fills that position as well as her new role as Resource Nurse. Paula goes out of her way DAILY to make sure that the entire clinic is covered with the staff that they need to function, should someone call-in. She delegates so that the clinics (ACT, ENDO, and ID) all run like a well-oiled machine. She routinely makes rounds to each clinic to see if there is anything that she can do to help out. Paula works outstanding with the ID clinic patients. The patients often call to speak with her to let her know how they are feeling, doing, and what is taking place in their lives. The patients are very comfortable with her and respect her as their nurse. They truly value her opinion and appreciate the kind way she delivers information to them. She is not only valuable to the patients, but the staff as well. She listens with an open mind and gives sound advice on the handling of any situtaion. She makes it a practice to treat each of us the way she wants to be treated, which in-turns respect being given on both ends. I have been given the opportunity and pleasure to work with such a wonderful, genuine, modest, giving and honest person and nurse.
