I would love Pat to be recognized with this DAISY Award. She has so much compassion and empathy for her patients. It's been an amazing experience to follow her as she says her goodbyes to her patients because of her new role as supervisor. The stories her patients have of her and the relationships they have developed. I watched her patients cry as she said goodbye and even though it was a sad moment for them it was an amazing moment for me because I came from the hospital and this is the very reason why. I can only hope to have such successful relationships as Pat. Anyone can see she has a heart of gold.
