Tara Caten, LPN worked at Pepperell Family Pratice for approximately 3 1/2 years and she now works for another Foundation practice. She is deserving of the DAISY Award for Nurses.
In her previous position at Pepperell Family Practice, Tara was often the go-to nurse when Providers or clinical staff needed assistance with caring for patients in the office. This was particularly the case with challenging emergency situations, for example, a patient walking into the office with chest pain or having an anaphylactic reaction.
Tara's clinical skills are excellent. Tara is confident, competent, compassionate, and always places the needs of the patients before her own. She is an energetic team player who has a finger on the pulse of the practice. Whenever any of our Providers asked for her assistance, even when Tara was assigned to a different Provider, she always did what she could with a willing and ready attitude.
One of our Providers who worked with Tara every day had this to say:
"I had the pleasure of working with Tara for three years. There is no one who brings more enthusiasm and energy to work than her. Patient care and patient experience are of utmost importance to Tara and patients would tell me daily how much they appreciated her care.
Tara is attentive to detail and always stays until the work is done. Clinically she was a great resource for the other medical assistants and nurses in the office who often went to her with questions. Tara never cut corners or gave up in a challenging situation. If it was related to patient care, she always gave it her all and put the patient first. Foundation is lucky to have Tara on our team!"
