Melady is our transition nurse meaning that she is the person in charge of the baby's well being during deliveries. She does this job in outstanding fashion. However, this is not her only job because she is always going out of her way to help in any shape or form in the Labor & Delivery unit and in Postpartum. She never stops! She is always willing to help with any tasks that we need help with and does it with pleasure and a great attitude. She is fast, precise, dynamic and an excellent nurse. In addition, she is just a joy to work with, always trying to be positive even in the worse of situations and being kind to others and to our patients. She is an amazing resource both for L & D and the Postpartum units and is so calm under pressure. She has a great connection with families and can always put them at ease. Melady also has the ability to show deep awareness and sympathy for patients suffering and without judgment. I cannot imagine maternal child without her. Melady is a wonderful asset. When I see her face, I know it's going to be a good day!
