The staff was unable to scan the blood product via the Bridge System. Being a safety issue, I called Jonbert for help. He was already at the parking structure and said he would come back to help the floor. I suggested to just instructions over the phone to the primary nurses. I later went to the 4th floor a few minutes later to find Jonbert with the primary RN inside the patient's room. When I asked why he came back and asked where he was when I called, he said he was already driving when I called. He said he was happy to show the RN how to input the data of the blood product in case the Bridge System didn't work. This speaks of excellence at doing something above and beyond what any other person would do in that situation.
