I've only know Flordaliza for the last 8 months but as soon as I met her I knew she was an excellent nurse. When she is here I know our patients are in safe hands. She is truly a positive role model for this unit because of her excellent clinical skills and compassion for her patients and co-workers. She is always watching out to improve the care for our veterans personally and professionally. It is nurses like her who make the VA what it is. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty to help patients in need. She is known for her consistent compassionate care. She is a true patient advocate. The unit lights up when she is in the unit. She is happy to be here and it shows with her bright smile and positive attitude towards everyone around her. She is an excellent nurse who is very knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, motivated and more importantly, she takes care of her patients with her heart.
