I had a patient with an extensive abdominal wound where the appliance was not staying in place and had been leaking for most of the day.
Mike was already on his way home and came to my rescue. This was the first time I had met Mike and, wow, what an incredible, professional, and kind individual. First, I was so impressed that he would come to the patient's bedside after he was already done for the day and maybe (not quite sure) had even left the campus already.
He came, assessed the situation and did an outstanding job applying a new dressing. I want to recognize Mike for being an incredible, kind, and loving person.
