Shona Wilson really did anything possible to make this major and scary event in my life feel like a walk in the park. She had a super power that only comes with compassion and wisdom of her craft; the "mom" touch. She will tell you it's going to hurt but she shows caring and love while doing it. She spoke to you like an old friend she really missed, and her nurse skills left no room for error and was done in a flash. Shona above all, took time to hear my concerns and address all of my fears and worries. She took that extra minute to make sure I understood everything I was being given and procedures to be done. I have a small fear of places like this, but I would come in more if I knew nurses like Shona would be there to help me. Shona saved me in many ways!

I had a rough time one afternoon and Shona made sure I had exactly what I needed for medicine and support. She was extremely considerate as she cared for me and really went out of her way to help me feel secure with my medical needs.

I spent a week in the hospital and Shona took amazing care of me. She cared about me as a person - physically and emotionally. I really appreciated the time she spent talking with me about how to lift my spirits while in the hospital. She made sure I had whatever I needed to heal and helped me be comfortable dealing with the knowledge that my recovery would take time. She really helped me get through one of the toughest weeks of my life.
