Cindy was my nurse the day I had the scariest thing happen after my heart attack. The third day after my surgery, my heart started beating really fast - it felt like it was coming out of my chest. Cindy was in the room with me and she was so calm and just said, "wow it sure is beating really fast, we are going to have you go back to bed now". I had no idea at the time that my heart was beating over 160 BPM because she was so calm and reassuring. I am sure if I had known, I would have panicked, and it would have gotten even worse. While she was my nurse, she was not only kind and knowledgeable; she was just a wonderful person. She talked to me like someone who mattered, not just as part of a job she was doing. MCR has some of the best nurses I have ever seen, and Cindy is at the top of the list. She's amazing!
