Ten years ago I was with my daughter at NIC when I delivered her at this hospital. Margaret O'Shea was the nurse that helped my daughter and me. She was very friendly, caring and made me feel very comfortable during the difficult time that my family experienced. After 10 years our son was admitted to the unit for a burst appendix. She entered the room with the same smile and care for my son this time that touched my heart and made our son feel very comfortable during his rough time that he was going through. Ten years passed by and she had the same passion for her job and dedication. So please, me, my daughter, my son, and husband, our family would like to say thank you to her and I will never forget our experience here in the unit at Hinsdale Hospital. With this letter, I would like to recognize and honor Margaret for her job, that she made a difference in our lives, and that we would never forget her.

From the moment we walked into the room Margaret was so lovely and careful about my daughter's situation she not only involved care about my daughter but about me. I can see her passion for her job for what she does. She went above and beyond for my daughter's happiness and health. I really appreciate everything this nurse and the unit did for my lovely daughter, thank you is not enough!
