One of Michelle's managers describes her as, "A very caring and compassionate nurse, to every patient, every time. She is extremely motivated and an excellent nurse".
Michelle was nominated for this award by three members of one patient's family. They were extremely pleased with the care that she provided to their Father and the family as well. They stated:
"Michelle has gone above and beyond caring for my Father. She not only gave him excellent care but was very knowledgeable about his treatment. But most of all she was with us throughout this week long journey. She prayed with us and cried with us and was very caring, and she was like part of our family. She made this difficult time go so smooth. We are so thankful."
"Our family took an immediate liking to Michelle. Her bright smile and positive "can do" attitude was exactly what my dad and the rest of us needed. Today is a difficult day, as we are letting my Father go. Thank God that Michelle was on duty right on time, right where we needed her."
"She was awesome! Thank you, Michelle, for having a wonderful kind heart. We could never thank you enough."
