As a family member, I wanted to take the time to recognize Rose for her great work. My mother had the pleasure of having Rose Ann Procopio as her nurse yesterday. It was a particularly hard time for me, as a daughter, having to place my mother into a nursing home facility for extended care. I was exhausted and my nerves were shot after the past 8 or so days of dealing with how to best help my mother's situation. My mom has Alzheimer's disease, and can no longer speak for herself. Rose went above and beyond the call to help our family to help Mom find something she would be willing to eat. She took time to comfort my mother and the rest of the family when they needed it. I can't even begin to tell you what a big help she was to me, when I just did not know how I would get through another day. Rose is a very compassionate and caring healer.
