Iam a PCT on one ofthe unitshere at White River Medical Center and Irecently lost my mother.Whileall the staff were really "special" and went above and beyond in the care ofmy mother. My family and Iwere especially touched by one nurse in particular. That nurse was Nancy Paluck. Nancy was very attentive, even though she was the charge nurse and must be very busy. Nancy gaveus her time and her comforting words at a very difficult time for all of us. She was very kind and told us that she had recently attended a training and learned of something that she wanted to offer us. Nancy encouragedme to take a picture of my and my mother's joined hands as a memorial of our time and the comfortI was able to providemy mother.I was very appreciative of Nancy's care and the opportunity Nancy gaveus to remembermy mother even a little more. Nancy is a wonderful nurturing nurse to not only her patients and families but also an excellent supporter and role model to all of her co-workers.
