My father was Katie's patient for 3 overnight shifts. He was just diagnosed with cancer. He is in a lot of pain and is currently bedridden. He was walking around and planting flowers at home just 2 weeks ago. She went above and beyond in her care of my father. Katie was always introducing herself to new family members and explained to my father what she was doing before she did it.
Seven family members have been staying overnight with dad and she would always ask if she could get us anything or assist us in anyway. We are all dealing with a lot of emotions and Katie always made my father's care her priority. Katie is a wonderful nurse and has made this difficult situation for my father and us a little easier.
