Honestly, the story wouldn't do this wonderful nurse justice. So, I'll just give you a brief outlook as to who she is and what she did! Stacey was first of all so caring and compassionate. So truly tried to do whatever she could to make sure all needs were met for her patient(s). I got to hear her get my roommate discharged quickly and thoroughly because my roommate had a crisis at home she needs to tend to. Then she got a new admission and the lady had specific needs she immediately took action so that the lady could have her needs met. All along with this, she's making sure the families were okay and if they needed anything. Then there was just her ability to manage all of the needs and not only take action to make sure I was taken care of, but she went over and beyond! Stacey is more than deserving of this DAISY Award. She'd do whatever it takes for her patients. Having her as my nurse even brightened my mood and these days it takes a lot to do that! So for that alone, she's deserving.
