I was on GMU floor and Rosanna Ruiz was my RN as often as possible. I knew I'd have a good day when I saw her. I had pain issues from an abscess wound. She kept my meds on schedule and also worked with wound team to make sure I had pain control during drug changes. She is knowledgeable, pleasant and well-organized.
My mom has multiple medical problems and a lot more pain and anxiety, so the minute I saw that Rosanna was there, I requested her for my mom.
Most of the other staff have been good to my mom, but when we see Rosanna come on shift, we just feel more comfortable knowing that we have a pleasant, highly intelligent, highly capable nurse to take care of mom and any issues that arise.
We both think Rosanna should be recognized for her skills, knowledge and compassion.
