Shakeeka went above and beyond for me and my family. My car was stolen here at the hospital. Shakeeka assisted me and my boyfriend in looking for the car, and took me to security. She even took the time to calm down my boyfriend and me to see the bigger picture, our newborn baby girl. My car contained the car seat, baby bag, and her first outfit. We had just received all these from our baby shower. When the car was stolen I didn't know what to do. Shakeeka assured us that it would work out. I was so blessed. Lactation gave us a basket of clothing. Shakeeka, her assistant manager, and the social worker came together to purchase a car seat, diaper bag and more clothes.
Shakeeka came every day to check on me and make sure my needs were met. She took the bad situation and made it good. I was able to leave with my baby in arms and a smile on my face, despite it all. She is compassionate and cares about her patients and her staff.
