Miss Jenny was the nurse for my son the night he was admitted to the PICU from the Pediatric ER due to extremely low sodium. Miss Jenny took such good care of my son from the second he arrived on her unit. She was the first person in our room when my son had a seizure and immediately started giving oxygen and suctioning his mouth along with the doctor on shift and the charge nurse.
Miss Jenny, prior to my son having a seizure, checked every catheter and lead and was so skilled even though she was working on an out of control, screaming, terrified 21 month old. She never lost her patience despite being smacked, slapped, scratched and grabbed by my terrified son. She held him like he was her own child after the seizure, rocking my son and patting his back; comforting him for 8 hours straight. Miss Jenny cried with me and supported my family above and beyond what I ever imagined.
We can never ever thank you enough or repay you for saving our sons life. God Bless you, we love you and we will never forget you Miss Jenny.
