Bridgette was my recovery nurse, and the best word to describe her is thorough! She is very detail oriented and I don't think I can forget my own name as many times as I had to repeat it with her! On the other side of that though it made me feel very secure that my information would probably not get crossed with anyone else's. Every medication and procedure no matter how small had an explanation even though I told her that I had been here before. She was constantly checking in on me and if she couldn't make it down to my room she would call to see if I needed anything and to let me know she would be there. I never had to wonder if she forgot about me. I had several nurses through recovery but I never had to wonder where Bridgette was. She constantly checked my belly firmness and made sure I had ample fluid intake and was using the bathroom. Overall, I am just very appreciative of her attitude, demeanor, knowledge and how very thorough she is! Nurses are already busy, especially on labor and delivery/recovery units. So, to be able to keep a smile and be great at your job is a task. Thanks, Bridgette!
