When I have to go to the hospital, I am faced with many feelings. Most of my feelings are some you might recognize. The scariest feeling for me is the unknown. What are they going to do to me, and where are you putting that? How much is this going to hurt and is it ever going to stop hurting? Having someone along with you during these very scary and uncertain times can be far more therapeutic than any medication created by God or man. A human touch and a simple word of hope can turn what is a seemingly an unproductive and unhealthy situation, into to an opportunity to make someone's day and perhaps change someone's outlook on life.
Elizabeth RN was not assigned to be my nurse the day I was admitted to Celebration Health, however, as the universe would have it, I was lucky enough to have her take over my care. She has such compassion, understanding and authentic concern for her patients. If anyone wants to see an example of what your company motto is, look to Elizabeth.
