Sarah was absolutely amazing. She sat down and talked with me in a time of need and helped calm my fears and concerns with her knowledge in her field of work. She connected with me on such a personal level. I cried when change of shift took place and she hugged me. She was/is an amazing RN.

The reason why this nurse is so special is because she is always willing and wanting to do whatever she can to help my sister. She helped my sister have a pleasant recovery from the time my nephew was born.

Sarah went above and beyond her call of duty to talk to the doctors to get my child home to meet her sisters sooner. My daughter had to stay 5 days and wasn't supposed to get out until evening time but Sarah took the time to talk with the doctors and get her released Sunday morning. Sarah also came to work a little early just to work on the discharge. Sarah always came in with a smile, very happy and outgoing and with a very good bedside manner. Sarah was always on top of things even after I was discharged as a patient and stayed on board as a boarder mom. Sarah always took the time to talk with me and made sure I had everything I needed. She made me and my family feel comfortable and understood. She never passed judgement. Thanks a lot Sarah, awesome job.

My daughter gave birth to my very handsome grandson on June 26. My daughter is 27 years old but mentally around 10 years. Facing many difficulties ahead, my daughter started crying. Sarah took the time to sit with her and helped her to focus on her baby. Sarah is our angel dressed in nurses clothing. Sarah, we appreciate you.

From the moment Sarah interviewed for a position on the Maternity & Pediatrics unit, I knew we were about to bring someone very special onto our team. Sarah is recognized weekly by her patients for the care she brings to them. They speak of her taking time and sitting with them, hugging them, talking with them and calming their fears. She is their support, their educator, their strength and their "Angel".
Sarah is not only amazing with her patients, but she is respected and liked by all who interact with her. Everyone loves working with her. She has a way of making even the hardest of shifts easier with her sense of humor.
