Every day she is a great help, but a few weeks ago is the best example of her hard work and extraordinary commitment for patients. We had a patient come in who was very sick, wheelchair bound and very obese. The doctor needed to do an in and out catheter. Unfortunately, our loyer was not working. Merina went out of her way and called over to the hospital and got it so that the patient could go over there. It was set up so that the "lift team" would meet with her and fortunately they were able to do the in and out catheter, which turned out the patient had a severe bladder infection and was ultimately hospitalized. The patient was at the beginning of her wits end and ready to just go home, but with Merina's help, the patient was properly diagnosed. Merina always goes out of her way to help everyone, not only patients, but as well as other staff and doctors. This is just one of the many examples of her excellence. Thanks!
