Jasmine is that nurse who takes the time to connect to patients. She is so thoughtful and really understands what her patients need, like a comforting touch, prayer, or an advocate for their pain/nausea after surgery. She also goes out of her way to make tea or bring Jasmine flowers to her co-workers when they need a pick-me-up. She prays with the staff and is truly compassionate to all of us.

Jasmine cares not only for her patients' physical needs, but also for their emotional and spiritual needs as well. Often times, she prays with her patients and family members, and takes the time to help ease their fears. She is also very protective of her patients and no matter what she will always do the best thing for her patients. She also treats her co-workers with compassion. When someone is having a stressful day, she will make a cup of her Indian tea and bring it to her co-worker. In the summertime, she brings small Jasmine flowers from her garden. She puts them in the medicine cups and distributes them to every staff member in order to brighten their day. She is the "Mama Bear" of 5 West. She treats her patients and co-workers like family.
