The amount of knowledge and compassion that Kylea had for my husband, newborn and me made our HMC experience one of our best. I am a mother of two and each experience at Hays Med has been very different. My first experience was good but nothing like when we had Kylea as our nurse. She was very dedicated and compassionate about her job. We struggled with feedings; Kylea got right in there and worked with us for a whole day and night. Every time we would have a feeding no matter what time in the middle of the night Kylea was by my beside to help hold, sooth, offer encouraging words, or just to be my support system. She may be young but she has a lot of experience and awesome techniques and approaches that could help any mom or newborn. She really listens to the patients and has a good sense of reading moms and babies, she could see when there was frustration or disappointment. She knew just what to do with any situation she was given. Having a nurse like Kylea made it easier when they took our baby for tests; we knew she was in good hands. Kylea's motherly instinct and honesty made a great patient-nurse bond. I'm glad we had Kylea as a nurse to help us with new approaches, feeding techniques, holding positions, and soothing measures. This nurse knows what it takes and it shows. Thank you Kylea for your commitment to your patients.
