Sharon has made a difference in patient care and education for our PACU patients, families, and nurses. She is presently in school for NP, with one semester of school left. We will miss her teaching and explaining new protocols to us. She willingly shares her knowledge with patients, families, and staff. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. She always stays late to make sure outpatients are safely cared for. Many nurses have complimented her way of teaching patients. She can explain to them on their level without making them feel less educated or simple. Even with full time School and working 20 hours a week, she still offers to stay late and help on call nurses.
