My husband experienced a really rough time going through his 1-month stay at University Hospital. Due to the flu epidemic, there was a shortage of beds. He finally got a room in Intensive Care where he spent a week. Then moved to the 8th floor, 5th floor and 7th floor where he eventually passed away.
In all this moving I have to say my husband received good care each place he went but due to the seriousness of his condition, he finally got where he couldn't talk or communicate. Jessica Yonchak was the most caring and compassionate nurse by her kind words and tender loving care she extended to my husband. She was very prompt to answer each need he had and always came into his room with a cheery and sweet attitude and a happy smile.
She displayed a genuine love and care for her job and her patient's needs.
