Professional, knowledgeable, ready to help whenever needed, Letty is the one person I want working a code of any kind with me. Letty Sosa is the definition of a dedicated, professional nurse. She is always available to help with emergent situations be it a code or a staffing need. She keeps her patients and their families informed of the progress of their care at all times. She remains cool, calm, and efficient in any kind of crisis. She is willing to share her knowledge and experience with anyone wise enough to seek her out. I have and will continue to trust her knowledge and expertise with my own care and the care of anyone else I know.

On July 17th, Letty's patient went to stress lab for a chemical stress test. After the test was completed the patient had a code rescue call. She ran it! She came over from Chest Pain Center and worked the code rescue with Dr. St. John. When the patient was transferred to the Cath Lab, Letty went with the patient and helped get him prepped for the Cardiac Cath while the STEMI team assembled. She went above and beyond. She remained calm, poised and professional throughout the code, all while talking and reassuring the patient that he would be alright.
