I have been here 17 days with my father. He is 91 years old and very sick with COPD and heart problems. Annelise was like a ray of sunshine. She was always upbeat and tried to cheer my father up. She would think of many ways to make him more comfortable; like a better bed, like bringing all his pills together and crushing them, so he could swallow them. She would give him a 4 hour slot of time to sleep without interruptions. But most of all she kept giving my father the will to live. My father's face just lit up every time she walked in the room. She shared pictures and told him stories. She made him feel as if he could really make it. She even visited him on her own time. She was also my angel. With her, I felt my father was getting the best care possible. God bless her! With her everything was done before I could ask.
