As staff gathered for the presentation, Joanne whizzed by the gathering to tend to a patient. No one tried to stop her because everyone knew that type of focus on the patient is why Joanne was receiving the award. She is an Extraordinary Nurse, and if she looks like she's on a mission, it's because she Is on a mission- a mission to provide top-notch care to patients.
