The moment Leah walked in, you could tell that she wanted to relate to me. She was kind and friendly, making jokes with me and my family. She lit up the room with her personality which was much needed after a rough surgery. She was incredibly knowledgeable and explained that she had been in my shoes. She had so much helpful advice to give, it made me feel comfortable and safe. When she needed to do something invasive, she did it with a gentle touch and encouraging words. She turned something uncomfortable into something I could tolerate. She spoke to me like a friend and made me feel like I was her only patient on the floor. She even called on her day off to check on me! Leah went above and beyond anything that my family or I were expecting. Thank you.
