Beth was taking care of an outpatient transfusion patient that came in with low oxygen saturation. Beth felt the patient needed oxygen at home so she called the cancer center and was told they have been trying to get oxygen for the patient but her saturations are never low enough in the office. Beth was able to get the documentation needed and the cancer center made arrangement for the oxygen to be at the house when the patient arrived home.
