...Kevin goes above and beyond for any and every patient. Last week I walked in on him holding hands and praying for a patient crying and in distress from a fractured hip. When asked for directions, he doesn't point, he walks our hospital guests. You really have to spend a day with Kevin to appreciate the compassion he brings. I'm proud to work along beside him.

I have been a nurse for 30 some years and supervised nurses also. The angel compassionate care that Kevin did with my family was remarkable. I have provided care for injured military service men and women in which I thought I was emotionally strong to handle anything but on this mother's day this young gentleman comforted my soul to the point that I am 100% sure my mother will receive the best care.

This is my husband's third trip to the ER. Twice at WakeMed North and today at WakeMed Raleigh Campus, all within a thirty day time period!

Kevin was my husband's nurse and he is so very "up lifting" with an awesome personality that made us both feel at ease. Kevin took time to talk with us and treated my husband with enormous gentle care. Kevin is gifted beyond measure and we feel he is so deserving of the DAISY Award. Kevin asked me if I'd like a drink or coffee. I asked for coffee and sure enough, he even brought me a cup of coffee. This is a first!!
