Rani Raju, RN MSN has worked diligently in the last year in her first position as a nurse leader to work collaboratively with her staff in developing an assignment of care model integrating the POD system focusing on the building of teamwork. As a Clinical Coordinator, Ms. Raju's model incorporated evidence into its structure. As a dedicated learner she continues to grow and increase her knowledge regularly. She seeks the evidence for every decision. She inspires learning in others. She has made changes in her own work flow, communication processes to ensure success and confidence of the team. Rani is 3 Surgical's only dual certified RN, holding certifications in both Med / Surg and Orthopedics. Her appreciation to her staff, by nominating others for employee of the month or the DAISY Award itself demonstrates her appreciation to her colleges and excellence in nursing.
