We had Nuklyn as my son's nurse during a previous hospitalization, and it was a really good feeling to know that she was going to care for him again when he was admitted to the hospital. I was really impressed this time with how she handled some of the instances with my son's case. For example, my son, who is a very brittle diabetic, uses the Novolog Flex Pen Insulin, which is something Wellstar does not carry. Needless to say, Nuklyn contacted my son's endocrine doctor to get the prescription sent to the pharmacy near the hospital where I was able to pick it up and bring it to the hospital so that my son would have his insulin. She even walked it down to the hospital pharmacy to be cleared for my son to use during this hospitalization. She also saw to it that I was able to receive a guest meal tray (complimentary after my 14th day) and a complimentary parking pass because both meals and parking were becoming quite costly. She really made sure things were in place for us during our stay. We received excellent care, and her professionalism and friendly manner made this a pleasant stay. She is truly an outstanding nurse.
