Lindsey Delongchamp is an epitome of personalized, compassionate care. I have lost count of the number of times patients have called Lindsey out for the outstanding care she has provided and how much they appreciated the care and compassion she has shown the patients and family. Some of the words that patients and family used to describe Lindsey are: "she is great - she sat with me and explained things to me", "she is very kind and I really appreciate her helping me", "she is just wonderful". I have witnessed how Lindsey interacts with patients and family and I would describe it as being present. She is very skilled in making the connection and building a trusting relationship with the patients and family, as well as very kind in her mannerism and demeanor.
Such praise is not limited just from patients and family. Often Lindsey is called out by other associates as someone who really stands out and ought to be recognized. Associates often can be heard saying: "I just love working with Lindsey", "she makes work very enjoyable", "she keeps calm despite the chaos", "she is so great when talking with the patients", "she is always positive and always ready to help". Lindsey certainly brings joy to the workplace and is appreciated by her co-workers.
Lindsey joined our team in September 2016 and a welcome addition too. Lindsey strives for continuous learning and professional growth as she proactively grabs opportunities to expand her role. Lindsey has cross-trained to be able to effectively fill in as social worker and discharge planner. She has stepped up into the role of telemetry presenter/facilitator for the telehealth pilot program at CMC. Lindsey takes notes of new learnings/process and has become a resource for others.
