We were surprised by our daughter’s dependency on benzodiazepines at birth and weren’t prepared for the treatment. Joan recognized this and helped to make sure we were informed and confident with the treatment plan. She helped us to adjust to our month long stay and really helped reduce the fear and stress involved.

*Joan taught us basic baby care techniques above and beyond the direct treatment of her medical issues, including really good new baby parenting tips
*Joan took care of us in addition to our baby, making sure that we took time off and making us feel confident, we could leave our baby in her hands while we recharged
