The Veteran described Kina as a "Shining Light" during his hospitalization on CCU after experiencing a heart attack. The Veteran stated, "Never had I experienced so much warmth and kindness from any caregiver as was given to me by Kina Phillips. She was not only a blessing sent down from Heaven to me, but also for the VA Healthcare System."
