Shannon had taken care of a 32-week fetal loss. On Sunday, the patient was in OBSC. Shannon went to see how the patient was doing. The patient wanted to see her baby again. Shannon wanted to assess the baby first to make sure it was appropriate for the family to see when the baby had been dead for a couple of days. I went down to get the baby from the morgue. She assessed the baby, we dressed the baby and she took the baby over to be with the family for their last goodbye. During this time Shannon was also taking care of a laboring patient in L&D making sure both patients' needs were met.
