Megan was the best nurse I have ever had. She corrected an issue with transportation even though the miscommunication had happened prior to her shift, she took charge and fixed the problem.

It was very busy here and the nurses were running (especially with the earthquake) yet she took the time to help me out and made sure requests were followed up on. I came back late from a procedure and she made time to make the calls to ensure food was brought up and she came back to the room and verified it was here. The air was not functioning properly one day and she requested a fan as it was 80 degrees and stuffy in the room.

The biggest thing is not that she made the requests, but each time took a minute to make calls and verify it happened.

I would commend her efficiency, organization and commitment to be a true advocate for the patient.
