I was very unhappy with the lack of personal hygiene that was given to my loved one. I decided to bathe my loved one myself. After I cleaned her, I decided I had to bring it to someone's attention. I was directed to speak with a nurse by the name of Mary. After introduced myself, I began telling her how disappointed and unhappy I was with the care we were receiving. Mary assured me she would look into it. I visited my loved one again after two days, I admit I thought Mary had just brushed me off and I expected to see things were still the same. To my surprise, I saw my loved one looking so pretty and clean! Just the look in her eyes said she was happy and motivated to get better. Her room was very tidy, clean, and her bed was nice and fresh. The level of attention Mary gave my concerns blew me away. To me, Mary and her staff went above and beyond the call of duty and for that we are very grateful. Mary's attitude throughout this entire ordeal remained pleasant. She is a true professional and a pleasure to have on my loved one's care team. It is nurses like Mary who keep Swedish our #1 choice.
