Dorothy Quartey was very diligent with me. She always gave me a full bath, shampooed my hair, then combed it. Dorothy Quartey, RN was always caring and extremely compassionate. I felt that she treated me with total respect. I felt safe with her. After feeding me she would take me out of bed and sit me in a chair. She was always a total professional. Her passion for nursing was total. She gave me medications on time and would always explain what I was taking and what it was for.
She would always explain my limitations. She always kept me safe and out of harms way. Dorothy Quartey has great team work and collaboration. Dorothy has excellent leadership/ initiative. Today, she ordered an abdominal band for me, because my original stomach band would keep opening up. She also made a patient therapy for me today. Yesterday she shaved me and removed adhesive from my face and neck. I didn’t ask her. Dorothy just asked me if that was okay with me. That is just how compassionate and caring she is.
